Ryan Bartow of 247Sports.com is reporting that former Dolphins and Browns TE Jordan Cameron is retiring from the NFL.
Cameron, unfortunately, has a very serious history of concussions, and his 2016 season ended with him being placed on injured reserve after he sustained a fourth concussion in as many seasons.
Cameron, 28, is originally a fourth-round pick by the Browns in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played out the final year of a two-year, $15 million contract that contained $12.5 million guaranteed and is currently an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Cameron appeared in three games and recorded eight receptions for 60 yards receiving and one touchdown.
