To put it very, very lightly, former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster is a troubled soul. The second-year linebacker from Alabama came into the league with some serious off the field issues, and those haven’t let up since arriving in the NFL.
Finally, over last weekend, the 49ers decided that enough was enough with Foster. Following a domestic abuse charge against Foster, the 49ers released him onto league waivers.
Though it was considered unlikely by many that Foster would find a home at all, there was a waiver claim made for his services on Tuesday afternoon.
