On the eve of the first practice of rookie minicamp, wide receiver Jordan Payton and linebacker Scooby Wright have reportedly signed their rookie contracts, according to Nate Ulrich at ohio.com.
Payton, a fifth-round selection out of UCLA, reportedly inked a four-year deal worth $2.584 million, which includes a signing bonus of $244,004.
One of four wide receivers drafted by the Browns, Payton finished his collegiate career as the Bruins record holder in career receptions with 201. A two-time honorable mention All-Pac 12 selection, Payton had 78 receptions for 1,105 yards and five touchdowns in 2015.
