The Cleveland Browns have made their move at the head coaching position. Chris Mortensen has reported that they would be hiring interim offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens for their head coaching position going forward – and that an announcement should be made later in the day.
From the time that Kitchens was officially promoted to the Browns’ offensive coordinator position after week eight, the Browns hit the gas on offense.
Baker Mayfield began lighting up the league, had a tremendous second half under the guidance of Kitchens, and the offense as a whole improved ten-fold due to Kitchens’s creativity in playcalling.
