The Cleveland Browns have signed nose tackle Danny Shelton to a four-year contract, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
The deal reportedly also includes the standard fifth-year team option.
“Anytime you add a guy that’s going to force two guys to block him it’s going to free things up for other guys and keep those linebackers clean to the ball.” – Defensive coordinator Jim O’Neil
Shelton was the first of the Browns’s two first-round selections in the 2015 NFL Draft, and joins fellow draft picks Charles Gaines, Nate Orchard and Randall Telfer in signing a deal with the Browns.
