Report: Browns sign CB Kevin Johnson

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly signed cornerback Kevin Johnson.

The fifth-year veteran will reportedly sign a one-year deal worth $3.5 million that could go up to $6 million with incentives, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Former Bills’ and Texans’ CB Kevin Johnson is signing a one-year, $3.5 million deal that could go up to $6 million on incentives with the Cleveland Browns, per league source.

Johnson was a first-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, He spent four seasons with the Texans as an occasional starter, but never really made much of an impact while battling injuries.
