The Cleveland Browns and defensive end Myles Garrett have reportedly begun talks on a contract extension for the team’s star defensive end.
That is according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, who also reports that the coming months could see the two sides agree on a “mega-extension” for Garrett:
The Browns picked up Garrett’s fifth-year option in May, meaning they have him under contract for two more years. Garrett is scheduled to make a bit more than $4.6 million this season and a bit more than $15.1 million in 2021 under the fifth-year option, according to overthecap.
