The Browns last October were able to grab a solid defensive player in former Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins, but everyone knew that if things didn’t work out, he would be free to walk at the end of the year.
It appears that’s not going to happen and Collins will indeed be back with the Browns, as Jason LaCanfora reports that a deal to bring back the 27-year-old is close to done.

Collins became a leader on a Browns defense that made progress down the stretch, and ended his eight games with the Browns with two sacks and a forced fumble.
