CANTON, Ohio -- Two of the seven inductees in the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame class might signal a return to the past.
A pair of running backs -- LaDainian Tomlinson and Terrell Davis -- will join kicker Morten Andersen, safety Kenny Easley, owner Jerry Jones, defensive end Jason Taylor and quarterback Kurt Warner in this year's class. Enshrinement ceremonies will be Saturday at 7 p.m. (ESPN) in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
Davis and Tomlinson buck a recent trend, but are proof the tailback can still be a most valuable player .
