Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel threw a water bottle at a man hounding him for his autograph Saturday evening in Irving, Texas, but no charges were filed and no arrests were made in connection with the incident, officer James McLellan, spokesman for the Irving Police Department, told the Beacon Journal by phone Sunday.
A Browns spokesman said the team had no comment about the incident.
Manziel and a group of his friends were in Irving, Texas, for the AT&T Byron Nelson, a golf tournament on the PGA Tour.
At about 6 p.m. Saturday, McLellan said, a confrontation unfolded between an 18-year-old man and Manziel at the pool area of the Four Seasons Resort and Club.
