On seeking stability, seeking better food and the evolution of the fullback: NFL combine observations

INDIANAPOLIS -- Steelers Vice President and General Manager Kevin Colbert oversees one of the NFL's most stable organizations. He's been with the team since 2000. The Steelers as a franchise, as it is well-known, have had three head coaches since 1969. Mike Tomlin has been their coach since 2007.

Colbert was officially named General Manager of the Steelers in 2010, though he held the title of Director of Football Operations, a position he took in 2000, prior to that. Regardless, he remembers the difference between Year No. 1 and Year No. 2 for a coaching staff and GM.
