CLEVELAND, Ohio -- On second thought...

If Sunday's performance in Detroit were the norm this season, the Browns would've won a few games by now (we think), and DeShone Kizer's season might be enough to convince someone he's the quarterback worth building around.

As it is, though, it's the exception. And if the Browns rate a QB highly, they must draft one at the top of the draft in 2018.

Kizer looked more decisive Sunday. He made good throws. There's not enough evidence to say he can't develop into a dependable starting NFL quarterback.
