Old Cleveland Browns, Indians auction items: What sold, what didn't

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A handful of Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians items, covering several decades, closed at auction late Thursday. The Arizona-based SIG Auctions had these items up for sale:

1969 game films

Five reels of 16mm film dated Nov. 23, 1969 – in their original container – were sent to Browns coach Blanton Collier. The reels are marked "Sideline Defense," "Sideline Offense" and Sideline Kicks," but the specific content is not known. Minimum bid: $25. Closing: $156.16, 6 bids.

1990 Cleveland Indians team-signed baseball

The ball comes from the personal collection of Ken Phelps, who spent part of the 1990 season – his last – with the Indians.
