The Cleveland Browns set their initial 53-man roster by cutting and waiving a number of players. Those with less than four years of service in the NFL, like last year’s third-round pick Siaki Ika, were placed on waivers and could be claimed by any team. Priority went in order of last year’s records.
Veterans with four or more years of experience are free to sign with any team.
The waiver process from the initial wave of cuts concluded Wednesday with the Browns 53-man roster staying the same. While there were a number of players that might have interested the team, none ended up claimed by Cleveland.
