The Cleveland Browns are heading into the third week of preseason and “word on the street” is that they’ve been engaging in trade talks centered around second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
It’s fairly obvious that Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston are 100% safe in terms of roster security, but the Browns have two possible trade candidates in Tyler Huntley and “DTR”. There’s currently a rumor circulating that Thompson-Robinson has been the target of trade interest by “multiple teams” according to Zac Jackson of The Athletic.
“The Cleveland Browns have discussed a potential trade of second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson with multiple teams, two league sources with knowledge of the discussions told The Athletic”, Jackson wrote.
