Rules and rule changes occur constantly in the NFL. Back when the league began in the 1920s, they simply did whatever college football did, but as the years rolled along, the league and its owners decided to make the game their own with variations of rules.
So, changing the game is nothing new for the Cleveland Browns and their fans.
This week in South Florida, the NFL owners are in the midst of their annual meeting. Numerous rule changes or alterations were discussed, but only three were voted on and approved.
The most significant is the new overtime rule.
