NFL Clears Johnny Manziel of Wrongdoing in October Incident

Johnny Manziel is on top of the world. At least as much as the starting quarterback of a 2-8 team can be.

This afternoon, the NFL cleared Manziel of any wrongdoing in a roadside domestic incident on October 12. The league conducted an investigation into the matter, but found no reason to discipline the 22-year-old Texas native.

The news closely followed head coach Mike Pettine's announcement that Manziel will be the team's starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.

The NFL released a statement this afternoon regarding its investigation into Manziel's incident with girlfriend Colleen Crowley:

"Consistent with the procedures of the league's Personal Conduct Policy, we have examined the available evidence regarding the recent incident involving Johnny Manziel.
