The Cleveland Browns were one of the biggest question marks in relation to how they would approach this upcoming off-season.
There was some belief that general manager John Dorsey would take a conservative approach and not make any major moves. Instead, he would target cheaper veterans that would not cost much. Then there would be less risk of taking a large chunk out of the Browns’ future cap space.
By preserving cap space, it would make sure the Browns would have plenty of money available when several of their key players would need new contracts.
