Nate Ulrich: Browns ought to encourage Johnny Manziel without getting carried away and six other thoughts about training camp

As Johnny Manziel’s comeback continues to gain traction, the Browns would be wise to refrain from dumping fuel into the hype machine.

Encouraging the young quarterback when his renewed dedication to football pays off like it did Friday night during the Orange & Brown Scrimmage at Ohio Stadium is the right thing to do. But pumping him up too much and too soon would be a mistake.

Why? Because Manziel has said so.
