With the players for the Cleveland Browns set to report to Berea next week, it seems that Andrew Berry has already returned to the office as the team has signed kicker Dustin Hopkins to a three-year contract extension. The extension is reportedly for $15.9 million and will keep him in Cleveland through 2027.
Hopkins brought stability to the kicking situation last season in a way fans haven’t seen since the Phil Dawson era. Unfortunately, Hopkins' 2023 season ended prematurely when he suffered a hamstring injury late in the year against the Texans in Houston.
