The Cleveland Browns are in a unique situation where they currently have only one quarterback on their active roster and it is not their starter. Saturday, the Browns waived QB PJ Walker to make room for CB Cameron Mitchell to return from injured reserve. Cleveland elevated QB Joe Flacco off the practice squad to start in Week 14.
QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson is the only quarterback on the active 53-man roster while Flacco has been named the team’s starter moving forward.
The Browns are expected to sign Flacco to the 53-man roster in the next seven days but that would still leave them with just two quarterbacks with Walker subject to waivers on Monday.
