BEREA, Ohio -- Mike Pettine acknowledged Monday that the domestic violence allegations against Johnny Manziel in the police report are 'disturbing' and that the incident is 'upsetting to all of us.'
But he defended the Browns' handling of the incident and their decision not to bench or suspend Manziel for Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the Broncos.
"If you think that we're just turning a cheek to this and ignoring it, you'd be dead wrong,'' Pettine said during his Monday press conference, during which he was peppered with Manziel questions.
