Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is scheduled to appear in front of a judge for the first time in relation to a misdemeanor charge stemming from a domestic violence complaint by his former girlfriend.
Manziel will appear before Judge Roberto Canas in Dallas County Criminal Court at 10 a.m. ET Thursday. He is not expected to be arraigned, nor is he expected to enter a plea.
Manziel's attorney, Bob Hinton, said Manziel was booked in and booked out at the Highland Park jail in Texas at about 3:25 p.m. CT Wednesday and was released on $1,500 bond.
