“When there is smoke, there is fire.” Pretty sure everyone should be familiar with this quote. If you have been paying attention to the wide receiver market this offseason, you would’ve noticed an explosion in terms of receivers agreeing to new deals.
However, there are a few receivers that are looking to get what their counterparts are getting. It’s leading to holdouts, which can cause friction and unnecessary attention. Out in the Bay Area, the San Francisco 49ers are dealing with this problem with one of their own.
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is in the last year of his deal, and as expected he is looking to get paid.
