Ishmaa’ily Kitchen has survived two coaching staff changes with the Browns, and now he’s trying to earn a roster spot at nose tackle after the organization used a first-round draft pick on the position in April.
But Kitchen didn’t immediately think about the arrival of 12th overall selection Danny Shelton decreasing his chances of making the team for a fourth consecutive year.
“I thought it would make us better as a unit,” Kitchen, a Kent State University product and Youngstown native, said during a recent interview with the Beacon Journal. “I think [Shelton is] good. He’s got a high motor for a big guy.
