Quarterback Johnny Manziel said doctors consulted by the Browns about an elbow issue that dates back to his freshman or sophomore year at Texas A&M have not mentioned surgery for the problem that will sideline him from the final two preseason games.
Manziel seemed confident that what he described as "elbow/forearm soreness, just some tendinitis" will not be an issue during the regular season.
"It kind of comes and goes," Manziel said Tuesday. "In the off-season, it’s really not usually much of a problem. OTAs wasn’t much of a problem, and then, as we get into camp, it’s a little bit of a grind.
