Quarterback Johnny Manziel took a small step Monday in his quest to regain everyone's trust and respect by reporting to Browns headquarters for the start of the team's offseason conditioning program.
A person familiar with the situation told the Beacon Journal Manziel is in attendance for the voluntary workouts in Berea just like the Browns expected. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team had yet to publicly discuss attendance.
The former Heisman Trophy winner has been in town since at least Sunday afternoon, when he sat courtside during the Cavaliers' 113-100 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of a first-round playoff series at Quicken Loans Arena.
