Johnny Manziel met Wednesday night with NFL investigator Lisa Friel about domestic incident

BEREA, Ohio -- Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel met with NFL investigators Wednesday evening at the Browns facility regarding his Oct. 12 domestic incident, league sources told cleveland.com.

Manziel met with NFL senior advisor Lisa Friel and was represented by NFLPA attorney Heather McPhee. The meeting began at about 5:30 p.m.

Friel was one of four women appointed by NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell last year to help shape the league's policies on domestic violence and sexual assault.

For more than a decade, Friel was head of the Sex Crimes Prosecution Unit in the New York County District Attorney's Office.
