Joe Thomas threw cold water on the notion that Mike Pettine's (accurate) pregame assessment of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had any affect on the Cleveland Browns' 30-13 loss on Sunday.
"It's hard to say that Russell Wilson was more motivated to play well because of comments that the other coach made," Thomas said Monday. "I think that's something that gets overblown amongst fans and in the media. Because you've got to focus on something during the week and when somebody says something that could be perceived as a slight, it's easy to say, 'Oh they're going to be more motivated.
