Three key defenders -- Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden, Pro Bowl free safety Tashaun Gipson and inside linebacker Craig Robertson -- will not practice Wednesday as the Browns (2-4) begins on-field preparations for their road game Sunday against the St. Louis Rams (2-3).
Coach Mike Pettine said Haden remains in the concussion protocol after suffering the injury Oct. 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. Gipson has missed the past two games with a sprained ankle. Robertson has missed the past three games with an ankle injury.
Tight end Rob Housler won't practice Wednesday, either. He left Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with a hamstring injury.
