CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown was fired Thursday, and coach Hue Jackson is staying on for 2018 despite the team's 1-27 record over the last two seasons.
The Browns are 0-12 heading into Sunday's game against the Packers.
"Hue Jackson will remain our coach and will return for the 2018 season but we feel it is necessary to take significant steps to strengthen our personnel department," Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said in a statement. "We have begun the process of having productive conversations regarding leadership of our football operations and will provide further updates when appropriate.
