The Cleveland Browns seem to be taking one step forward and then a step or two backward when it comes to injuries at certain positions.
Such is the case this week with the wide receivers.
While wide receiver Antonio Calloway is eligible to return to the roster after his four-game league suspension, and wide receiver Rashard Higgins is another day closer to returning from his Week 1 knee injury, the Browns may now be without wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who is in the NFL-mandated concussion protocol.
Landry suffered the concussion during Sunday’s win against the Baltimore Ravens, possibly at the end of his 29-yard reception late in the third quarter, and his status is now in the hands of the team doctors, head coach Freddie Kitchens told clevelandbrowns.
