CLEVELAND, Ohio - Much like the Browns' fourth quarter against the Chargers last season, Jamie Meder had a late surge of good fortune in this week's building block vote.
After hovering most of the week around a 60-percent approval rating, but below the 67-percent threshold for building block status, Meder's yes votes got a late boost to put him over the top at 69 percent.
Despite that, most commenters seemed unwilling to call the Valley Forge High and Ashland University product a true building block. Starting 15 games and blocking a field goal to help preserve your team's only win of the season only gets you so far.
