BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns defense is nearly whole again. Top overall pick Myles Garrett returned to the field on Sunday against the Jets. Danny Shelton was back, too. This Sunday, in Houston, linebacker Jamie Collins is expected to return after a few weeks in the league's concussion protocol. He practiced on Wednesday.
The Browns defense has performed admirably while missing key pieces, at least statistically, as pointed out by head coach Hue Jackson.
"I think (the defense has) done exactly what my vision is," Jackson said. "We have stopped the run. We have slowed down the run, and the ball doesn't go flying over our head like in the past.
