Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin has learned a lot of lessons during his eight years in the NFL.
Many relate to protecting his quarterback or clearing a lane for a running back, something that the two-time, First-Team All-Pro has done very well.
Another lesson is that sometimes there is nothing you can do to prevent an injury from striking.
Conklin knows, perhaps more than most, what it is like dealing with a serious injury. He suffered an ACL tear in the 2021 playoffs while with the Tennessee Titans, a ruptured patellar tendon and a dislocated elbow that fall with the Cleveland Browns, and then had his 2023 season end in the first game after tearing his ACL and MCL.
