CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Jabrill Peppers will venture confidently Sunday into the Lions' Den, where some angels fear to tread.
After sitting out two games with his toe injury, Peppers -- who plays Gregg Williams' demanding deep free safety ''angel'' position -- is eager to unveil a new improved version of himself in the state where he played his college ball.
"It does make it a little better that it's back home in Michigan, but I'm just happy to be back out there,'' he said. "It was very frustrating, especially when you're not playing as well as you'd like to and then that's the lasting impression on everyone's mind.
