CLEVELAND, Ohio -- I'm hoping by the time you read this, Jabrill Peppers has signed his contract with the Cleveland Browns.
But heading into the weekend, that has not happened. Rookies report Sunday, and Peppers is the only Browns draft pick not yet signed.
The Browns drafted 10 rookies, nine signed quickly.
They drafted three in the first round.
They had little problem convincing top pick Myles Garrett to sign. The same with David Njoku, the 29th overall pick.
In general, most rookies sign by training camp. The new labor agreement leaves only a few areas open to negotiation.
