CLEVELAND, Ohio – Josh McCown calls this lost Browns season "a tough, tough time for us."
That assessment is the equivalent of the old Nike "Bo Knows" ad campaign. Bo knew football. Bo knew baseball.
Nobody knows tough times like McCown.
Sunday could be his last start. Next is a bye week, then presumably the return of Robert Griffin III.
RG3 and Cody Kessler still carry Hue Jackson's stamps of approval. Jackson inherited McCown, who turns 38 in July.
Kessler should have a future here, even if it's as a backup. It's hard to imagine Jackson willingly giving up on RG3 unless the QB's return is a month-long disaster movie or ends in another injury.
