HOUSTON, Texas -- Sunday's matchup between the 0-5 Browns and the 2-3 Texans was supposed to feature the much-anticipated matchup of DeShone vs. Deshaun: Browns rookie DeShone Kizer vs. Texans' rookie Deshaun Watson.
Instead, Kizer will be on the sidelines while second-year pro Kevin Hogan makes his first NFL start -- the 28th QB to start a game for the Browns since 1999.
"I'm excited,'' said Hogan. "It's another opportunity to go out there and play some ball, which I love. I played a lot of games in college, and when I was out there the other day, it felt like I was in college again.
