CLEVELAND, Ohio - Indians fans cheered but didn't fly out of their seats when the Progressive Field scoreboard flashed the news that the Cleveland Browns had selected Myles Garrett as the first pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday.
The Browns used the top overall selection on Garrett, a 6-foot, 4-inch, 272-pound defensive end from Texas A&M.
A lukewarm cheer went up among the 14,452 fans in attendance when the pick was announced via public-address announcer and scoreboard during the Houston-Cleveland game. While the selection was flashed in the top of the seventh inning with the Astros leading 3-2, one television on each level of the Corner Bar in right field had been tuned into the draft.
