Hue Jackson back in the AFC North, hired by Cincinnati Bengals

Well, that didn’t take long. Just two weeks after being relieved of his duties as the Cleveland Browns head coach, Hue Jackson is employed. The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Tuesday that Jackson would be returning to their staff, this time as a Special Assistant to head coach Marvin Lewis. Jackson spent 2012 and 2013 as a defensive assistant in Cincinnati and 2014 and 2015 as the team’s offensive coordinator.

Jackson will be returning to the defensive side of the ball, helping Lewis—who will be serving as the Bengals’ defensive coordinator after Monday’s firing of Teryl Austin—”assimilate his head-coaching duties with managing and calling the defense.
