How three Browns players acquired this past weekend are likely to contribute immediately

Since Friday, the Browns have added seven players who are now on their 53-man roster. Two were signed and five were claimed off waivers. At least three of them stand good chances to play right away.

Here's a look at the trio that'll likely have an impact as soon as Sunday's regular-season opener at Philadelphia.

1. Defensive lineman Stephen Paea

Signed Friday after Washington cut him on Aug. 30, he expects to rotate at nose tackle and end (three-technique) out of the gate.

Paea, 28, has started 41 of the 66 NFL regular-season games in which he has appeared.
