Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson had a day to forget in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Watson’s stat line brought back memories of Cleveland quarterbacks of yore, and not in a good way, as he completed 53 percent of his passes, tossed two interceptions, was sacked six times, and looked like anything but a quarterback who can lead a team into the playoffs.
It was the seventh time in 12 games with the Browns* that Watson completed less than 60 percent of his passes, his 169 passing yards was the sixth time he has failed to surpass 200 yards, and the fifth time he has taken four or more sacks.
