In Major League Baseball, the Cleveland Indians have won two World Series titles (1920, 1948). Prior to the Indians, the Cleveland Spiders had a single title (1895). Meanwhile, the Negro League Cleveland Buckeyes began in 1942 and found success early with two championships in 1945 and also 1947.
