Haslams donate $10 million to Cleveland charter schools

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam have donated $10 million to Breakthrough Schools, the city of Cleveland's network of public charter schools.

The donation from the Haslam 3 Foundation was announced by Breakthrough Schools on Wednesday.

Breakthrough Schools was formed in 2010 by three of Cleveland's public charter schools. It has since grown to 11 schools, with a 12th to open soon.

The donation is the largest given to the organization.
