CLEVELAND – To the surprise of no one, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam made it official on Sunday evening, firing head coach Mike Pettine along with GM Ray Farmer following an awful 3-13 season that ended with a 28-12 loss at home to the Steelers.
Here’s the official statement from Haslam, who will speak to the media tonight, on the firing of the duo:
“We greatly appreciate Ray’s and Mike’s dedication and hard work while with the Cleveland Browns. We’ve made this decision because we don’t believe our football team was positioned well for the future.
