Former Browns QB retires after 14 years

Colt McCoy, who spent three seasons with the Cleveland Browns, announced his retirement on Monday after 14 years in the NFL.

The Browns selected McCoy in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft after he was a two-time finalist for the Heisman Trophy and led the Texas Longhorns to the 2010 National Championship Game.

McCoy would go on to play in 24 games with the Browns, making 21 starts. He completed 58.3 percent of his passes for 4,388 yards with 21 touchdowns and 20 interceptions while throwing to such luminary receives as Mohamed Massaquoi, Brian Robiskie, and Greg Little.
