This week, the NFLPA released a statement that included the list of players who were selected to participate in their fifth annual externship program. 41 current and transitioning NFL players were placed in three-week positions in various industries, and the NFLPA says they fielded “a record 110 applications this winter from interested players.”
Unfortunately, none of the 41 selected players are current members of the Cleveland Browns, perhaps attributable to how young the team is? In total, 20 NFL teams are represented, with the Chicago Bears having the most players (four) partake in the program.
