Former Browns ball boy promoted to Offensive Coordinator

The Cleveland Browns have officially announced the promotion of current passing game specialist and tight ends coach Tommy Rees to Offensive Coordinator.

Rees will be entering his second year with the organization in 2025 and has been a fairly hot commodity amongst coaching circles since the 2020/2021 season. He’s known as an up-and-coming, innovative mind in the offensive football world and began calling offensive plays at Notre Dame (2020-2022) and Alabama (2023) before joining Cleveland in February 2024.

Rees was a ball boy for the Browns as a teenager when his dad, Bill, was the Director of Player Personnel under GM Phil Savage.
