BEREA, Ohio — Johnny Manziel was at times proud, at other times defiant when questioned about his personal growth and his recent off-field activities.
Manziel answered six questions about his decisions, then said he had addressed everything as best he could and was ready to move on to talk about football.
Fair enough.
Except for one thing: Since the day he’s been drafted, it’s never been about just football.
It’s about social media and treatment facilities and middle fingers and floating swans and a pink champagne bottle and dangerous driving on a highway and so many other things that are not football.
